For Life, Memory and time...
Clay has a different appearance at all stages, from wet to dry, raw to fired. Each stage allows me to rethink, review and reshape at any time.
I see every piece as a single journey into the unknown, as an exploration of shape, texture and color. Each piece is worked until the event concludes itself. Along this process there are certain key moments, but only after the last firing does the object reveal intself in all aspects. On these journeys, I hope to visit many places I have never been before. However, I'm not just interested in form and decoration; I believe that the "object" stands for an eternal form, a container for life, time and memory.
